Obviously this one got a bit damaged while in storage.
What a shame, as what you can see is spectacular!
I don't know the history of this painting,
but I do know that some of Marc's paintings were
seized by the Nazi government during WW2 and did
end up getting damaged in the same way,
while in storage.
