Here is that wonderful painting that first got me
started appreciating Franz Marc's works. The Bewitched Mill.
I love the vivid colors and angular designs, plus the somehow
mystical melding of the town, the water, the forest, and the animals.
His paintings vibrate with such intense passion and life!
The original is in the collection at the Art Institute of Chicago,
and it fascinates me still. I could stare at it for hours . . .
